Milwaukee Wedding Photographer-Arynne and Kevin

Fall Wisconsin Wedding~Arynne & Kevin

When I say I love my job, I MEAN it…I LOVE my job.  How cool is it to be able to travel and connect with people from all walks of life? I’m also talking walks of MY life. Photographing old high school friends’ families and babies and being a part of BIG moments in their lives is such an honor for me–Arynne and Kevin are no exception. I’m not going to date myself as to how long I have known Arynne–but it’s a very, very long time. When Arynne reached out inquiring about wedding photography, I was SO excited to be able to work with her and her future husband.  One of my trips home to Wisco (yes, I still call Wisconsin “home”), we were able to do the engagement session and I just adored getting to know them as a couple. Just look at how gorgeous these two are!

Fast-forward to October and the BIG day was fast approaching; the anticipation growing. 2020 has been a crazy year for everybody, but that would not hold this couple back from celebrating their love and making it official (of course with safety a top priority).  Celebrations these days are just a little sweeter and more meaningful. The emotion and energy captured of this gorgeous day was nothing short of amazing. Be sure to show this couple some LOVE and leave a comment below!

Cassi+Steve=LOVE

Now that my family and I have relocated to North Carolina from Wisconsin, I take on every opportunity to do travel sessions for clients. It makes my heart so happy! I guess you could say I am a make-shift destination photographer. I met Cassie and Steve about a year ago (in Menomonee Falls, WI) when Cassie reached out wanting to possibly hire me as a their wedding photographer.  You know when you meet people and you just…mesh?! That was Cassie and Steve. I fell in love with the love that they had for each other. So much admiration for this couple.  After showing my portfolio and chatting over coffee, we found out we went to the same high school (go MFHS!) and knew a lot of the same people! Our paths crossed many different ways.  It was inevitable that we were a good fit.

Cassie and Steve booked one of the wedding packages that included an engagement session, which I always recommend.  It really gives me a chance to work with the couple so that we can see how the big day will go. Kind of like a run-through or dress rehearsal without all the stress.  We get into a groove where I give gentle direction, but also sit back and let the couple “be a couple.”  Fast forward to last summer where we had a gorgeous evening for an incredible engagement session with beautiful golden lighting and absolutely adorable subjects–it was a win/win/WIN! I just KNEW their big day was going to be MAGICAL.  And Magical it was…

The BIG DAY~WINTER WONDERLAND

Cassie wanted a snowy, winter wonderland wedding–and chances are if you are planning a wedding in Wisconsin for the end of December, you will get that! However, it had been a mild winter leading up to Christmas.  THANKFULLY, a gorgeous snowfall came just before the day covering the ground in beautiful white, sparkly snow.  This day would be a day to remember! The bride was absolutely stunning in her dress from Amelishan Bridal .  It was perfect for a snowy December wedding paired with gorgeous light blue bridesmaid dresses–each dress had a slightly different style to showcase everyone’s different personalities.  The sweet treats were done by the AH-MAZING dynamic duo of Oh Sugar (seriously, if you ever need any type of sweet treat–they are the BEST!). The rustic/chic wedding venue of Terrace 167 made every last detail come together without a hitch. And you guys…the ENERGY of this wedding.  The ENERGY! All the guests were so excited to witness the love and union of this couple.

But don’t let ME tell you…go ahead and see for yourself.
